10 nomad
"nomad" represents detachment, the realization that past joys no longer hold meaning. It tells the story of a person, now in old age, setting out on their final journey - not to escape, but to explore what still lies beyond the lived life.

At this point, there is no longer fear of loss, because all that was once lost has already become part of the past. Now, there is only one thing left - to finish what remains undone, to see what has not yet been seen.

This track is about acceptance, freedom, and solitude - no longer burdensome, but leading toward something greater.

Atmosphere and Sound
"nomad" carries a cinematic scale, which is no coincidence - it was recorded in collaboration with Hollywood composer Jeff Rona.

Jeff Rona’s flute sounds like the voice of the wind, guiding the wanderer along their final path. It is mysterious and full of deep meaning, like the thoughts of a person who has attained wisdom.

In the central section, the duduk, played by Eric Mirzoyan, makes its return - the same instrument heard in the album’s opening track, "shifting sands". But here, its meaning has changed:

  • In "shifting sands", the duduk was a herald of the journey’s beginning, wrapping the listener in its warmth and beckoning them forward.

  • In "nomad", it has become the voice of memory - a moment when the past flashes before one’s eyes, but without pain or regret. It is the final dialogue with one’s own history before crossing the last horizon.

How This Track Fits into the Album

"nomad" is one of the album’s key moments.

  • If "don't leave me" was about the fear of loss, here, that fear has already been overcome.

  • It is a farewell to the world, but not a tragic one - it is filled with understanding that the journey continues, just in another form.

  • This is the last wanderer, walking a path that leads not into emptiness, but into a new unknown.
The album is now almost at night, yet two more stories remain to be told.
